Kansas Prairie Shop Hop Gallery
Each year, 12 stores meet to choose fabrics and themes for the next year's Kansas Prairie Shop Hop. We like to challenge ourselves as well as provide inspiration for our Shop Hop participants. Prior themes have used batiks, black and whites, and precuts such as jelly rolls and layer cakes. This page shows the current year and several prior Kansas Prairie Shop Hop themes.
2011 - Celebrate Kansas!
In celebration of Kansas' 150th birthday in 2011, we decided to use Kansas-themed blocks. Each store created a quilt using those blocks in a variety of colorways. We had a photographer come take photos for our Kansas Prairie Shop Hop Postcards. The quilt designs are below.
